Birth blooms

This basic course is designed for busy families, or experienced parents looking for a refresher course. Our two 2-hour sessions will focus on the most important things you need to know to prepare yourself for labour and birth.

Week 1 = The science of labour and stages of labour; What to expect from natural childbirth; Medical technologies of birth (including induction of labour and pain management)

Week 2 = Medical technologies of birth (including Cesarean, assisted delivery, risk management, and emergency situations); Birth planning and advocacy

Comes with a FREE digital workbook so you can continue your preparations at home with guided activities and more in depth information that we can provide in class.

Baby Blooms

Designed as a companion course to Birth Blooms, you are also welcome to take Baby Blooms on its own as a infant care introduction course! This 2-hour single class session will teach you all you need to know about the first few weeks with your newborn baby. We’ll make sure you understand what your options are for feeding your baby, how to ensure all the whole family is getting some sleep, and what to lookout for with postpartum anxiety and depression.

Comes with a FREE workbook to continue postpartum preparation at home.

Covering all you need to know about IUI and IVF, the risks and benefits of known and unknown donors, and how to process the emotional ups and downs of trying to conceive.
